this is how gaming on the iphone should be done. Nearly perfect, the only complaint is that the touch screen doesnt quite allow precision, but its hardly a hindrance. BUY this game and support this kind of development.

So, so much fun! Great design, great music, great game play. Only weakness is that that your finger or thumb sometimes blocks your view and causes you to miscalculate... usually causing a collision. This is a minor complate though. Highly recommended.

The game continues to surprise you with each stage. Get it, you wont be disappointed.

There are a lot of flashy graphics and ideas here, but the gameplay itself is actually pretty dull. You guide the ship with your finger, which makes it hard to see the ship. You spend your time avoiding slow moving shots. Everything else is pretty fast. Lots of noise, lots of flashing lights, etc. But I found myself falling asleep at the wheel. Ignore the hype. Try something else. This is utterly brainless.

Not 5$ long, but it is fun.

I dont understand the rave reviews. I tried to play it several times, just didnt do it for me. Its gone.

This is a pretty cool game, I love the style for this remake of thr classic. But I must admit, I feel a bit underwhelmed, what with all te hype. Its fun and cool, but cmon...its not THAT amazing

I am quite impressed with the gameplay and contols of this game. I love the fact that even if you die in a level it still contributes to your evolution bar, which when filled gives you new weapons or a new level or new bonus of some sort. The weapons are a blast (pun intended). All in al, its one of the better games out there. I do wish it was a bit cheaper, but it is worth the asking price.

Too far from the original. I honestly think these 5 star reviews are FAKE I uninstall it after playing just once. Its not worth the money. Im not one to leave negative comments but this was horrible. Too much happening.

Bad game...to much sparkles and bizz everywhere in the screen...

This game deserves the attention, 5/5 replayability, and you dont have to keep your finger on the ship....

I can understand why purists would be dismayed regarding this very over-the-top revisit of the classic arcade title, but purists be darned, because this game is a blast from start to finish. Taito pulled out all the stops with this one, and delivered a great space shooter experience. Highly reccomended!

Ive played lots of shooters on this platform and this one is by far the best. Full of retro charm yet also has new concepts like unlockables. Very addicting! Also the music mode that lets you listen to your tracks and builds custom levels based on the track adds tons of replayability to an already excellent package. Try the lite if you have any doubts!!

Best game on itunes, i have yet to quit playing the music mode where it generates a level based on the song you are listening to there are no two levels that will be the same...EVER! this game is worth 20$ You will NOT be dissapointed with this purchase there is literally no better game on itunes lol they even have a lite version so if you think 5$ is too much for an iphone game you can try that and find out first hand that its a must buy! Do not pass on this game.

Totally worth the price. They twisted the basic space invader concept and created what I believe is the most simple to use yet one of the most complete and addictive game for iphone. We need more games like this !

Shoots you from under your thumb often Sometimes the ship wont move if you switch fingers Sometimes the ship jumps across the screen instantly, getting lost if you switch fingers Sometimes the ship drifts under your finger so you have to reposition while still dodging Often if your finger is not exactly on the middle of the ship, youll get in situations where you cant possibly move where you need to be with that finger because control is lost past the edge of the screen Often spawns enemies on top of you instantly, killing you no matter where you are on the screen Sometimes invincible unavoidable enemies occupy the whole screen width and crush you Double-click menu moves away from your finger after first click so you have to chase it then double-click No game or app will tell you youre out of memory and need to restart more than this one. As likely as not, the error will appear when you start it. In spite of this, its very entertaining and has a great look and feel. The "evolution" mechanic keeps it interesting and rewards you for playing, win or lose. Music mode stages feel pretty fresh and original, with special bosses at the end too. Ultimately it turns into a non-traditional bullet hell shooter which is neat and surprising for Space Invaders! Later stages get insanely busy and intense for long periods. Just be prepared to die very often for things you have zero control over.
